ZSR Expands Aviation and Aircraft Transactions Practices With Addition of Mark A. Ringel

Washington, D.C.  Zuckert, Scoutt & Rasenberger, L.L.P., is very pleased to announce that Mark A. Ringel has joined the firm as a partner in its Aviation and Aircraft Transactions practices. Mr. Ringel is a highly experienced aircraft transactions lawyer whose practice focuses primarily on the purchase, sale, lease, financing and operation of business aircraft. Originally trained as an aerospace engineer, Mr. Ringel also represents and advises clients on regulatory compliance matters involving Department of Transportation and Federal Aviation Administration regulations affecting aircraft operation and ownership.

"We are delighted to add Mark's talents and experience to the existing strengths of our Aviation and Aircraft Transactions practices," said Charles Simpson, co-Managing Partner. "His abilities will allow us to expand and deepen the services we offer to the aviation community."

Mr. Ringel joins the firm from Crowell & Moring. Mr. Ringel's legal career began at Gulfstream Aerospace Corp., where he negotiated and administered corporate jet sales, leases and acquisitions. Before graduating from law school, Mr. Ringel was an engineer at The Boeing Company, where he was responsible for large project management activities. Mr. Ringel received his B.S., cum laude, in Aerospace Engineering and Mechanics from the University of Minnesota Institute of Technology in 1992 and his J.D., cum laude, from Seattle University School of Law in 1999.
