  • Antitrust Litigation

Zuckert, Scoutt & Rasenberger's antitrust practice includes civil and criminal litigation in the federal courts, preventative counseling, counseling regarding mergers and acquisitions and representation of parties before the Department of Justice and the Federal Trade Commission in connection with investigations and merger reviews.

We have represented air carriers and other parties in DOJ reviews of a number of the most significant proposed airline mergers and computer reservation system mergers in recent years. We have played and are playing a similar role in connection with several of the major railroad mergers, and mergers of household goods movers.

As noted above, the firm played a leading role in an important antitrust action involving airline computer reservations systems. Our attorneys have also defended motor carriers in criminal antitrust actions brought by the Department of Justice, and have litigated private antitrust suits on behalf of transportation entities.
