programs for their employees, and in ensuring that those arrangements are in keeping with
federal and state legal and tax requirements, including compliance with non-discrimination
obligations.
Legislative
Advice
We represent clients before
the U.S. Congress with respect to the development of
federal laws concerning employee relations and benefits
matters. For example, we have provided major
legislative and administrative law representation to
corporate clients and trade associations. This
work includes technical work with Congress on clarifying
existing law following IRS or Department of Labor
interpretations.

requirements affecting retirement plans in connection with
