On a variety of international matters, the firm represents both foreign clients with interests in the U.S. and elsewhere, and U.S. clients with business overseas.  Firm lawyers are routinely abroad, and major projects in the past have required a continued presence in countries as diverse as Saudi Arabia and Korea on matters ranging from the transfer of nuclear technology to the acquisition of semiconductor technology.  We have particular experience in representing foreign businesses operating in the U.S., advising on start-up and establishment of operations, special tax considerations applicable to cross-border operations, legal issues related to foreign investment in the U.S., employer-employee issues, legislative matters, and a broad range of matters presenting particular problems for foreign entities.

The International Law Practice Group is headed by William H. Callaway, Jr.,  Charles J. Simpson, Jr. and Rachel Trinder.
