ZS&R provides comprehensive services in helping clients to plan for the future management of their wealth in the event they become disabled or otherwise unable to manage their financial affairs.  These goals can be accomplished through simple and common means such as durable powers of attorney and revocable living trusts, as well as through more sophisticated and complex means, when appropriate.  ZS&R also assists clients who so choose to minimize the risk of significant diminution of their wealth from catastrophic medical expenses both through the traditional living will, which directs the client's physician not to undertake futile and costly measures to treat a terminal condition, and through the more flexible health care power of attorney that not only includes a living will directive but also authorizes another person or persons to make health care decisions when the client is no longer able to do so.
