Much of our work has involved international government contracting. This entails representing U.S. clients with contracts awarded or administered by U.S. federal agencies abroad, and representing foreign firms contracting with various U.S. Government agencies. Among the issues frequently encountered in international contracting, we often provide guidance to clients regarding compliance with the U.S. Foreign Corrupt Practices Act. Some examples of our international contracting work:

• We advised a foreign nation’s space authority during its negotiations with NASA regarding a contract for the establishment of a NASA tracking station in the foreign nation.

• We represented a U.S. contractor providing a half-billion dollars of construction and support services in Saudi Arabia as part of a multi-year foreign military sales program administered by the U.S. Air Force; we provided comprehensive, on-site legal advice for over three years until the contracts were satisfactorily completed.

• We represented a large Swedish telecommunications firm in contract negotiations with the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers for the development and installation of a modern telephone system for a Middle Eastern country.
