Members of the firm have extensive experience in handling customs problems. The firm advises clients regarding compliance with the various requirements of the customs laws and with the increasing requirements imposed by the Department of Homeland Security. We also represent U.S. and foreign companies in staffing and enforcement matters before Customs and Border Protection, Immigration and Customs Enforcement, and Citizenship and Immigration Services. We have particular experience with CBP Model Port issues, and with the many travel requirements applicable to international business, such as trusted and registered traveler programs, visa waiver procedures, and ESTA. We also have extensive experience in advising foreign carriers in passenger and cargo arrivals screening and in obtaining customs bonds, and we also advise on the many legislative initiatives affecting customs and trade matters. |
