Jerrold Scoutt, Jr. is a founding partner of Zuckert, Scoutt & Rasenberger. He was born in Hastings, Nebraska in 1922 and graduated from Carleton College in Northfield, Minnesota in 1943, where he was Phi Beta Kappa. He then received an M.A. from the Fletcher School of Law and Diplomacy in Boston in 1944 and an L.L.B. from Harvard Law School in 1948. He is a Fellow of the American College of Trial Lawyers (Ret.).

Mr. Scoutt has specialized in aviation legal matters, representing U.S. and foreign scheduled air carriers, charter air carriers, cargo carriers, freight forwarders, and city and state aeronautics commissions. He served on the Civil Aeronautics Board Advisory Committee on Regulatory Reform in the 1970's.
